A developer of Apex Legends has confirmed that the new character Forge is dead, which means that all of those theories that he might be alive are now nonsense.
James ‘The Forge’ McCormick, was first introduced as being the new Legend in season 4, on the 23rd of January. The announcement was a surprise to many fans since leaks suggested that Revenant would be the new character coming to Apex Legends.
But that was not all. On the 27th of January, Respawn released a video in which Forge was being interviewed after being able to be on the Apex games, but the interview was stopped by Revenant, who suddenly appeared behind Forge and stabbed him in the back.

Well, this entire thing, together with the Apex Legends indications, showed that Forge was not going to be in the games, but that Revenant would. Fans were not pleased with the ideas or the explanations, and many believed that Forge survived. Theories are now all clear since Respawn Senior Animator Moy Parra confirmed that Forge is dead.
“Yes. Forge was murdered. He is dead. As dead as it gets. Super duper dead. On a scale from 1 to 10 that he could be alive, he’s at 0.Hope this helps?” was the tweet coming from Moy Parra on the 30th of January.
Even after this, fans were not 100% convinced. Fans are still hoping that they will get to see Forge in the next season. We believe that it is rather strange that they developed new characters in order to trick people, especially since it all lasted for only a few days. It seems that we will have to wait for the fourth season to see the truth.
