The most recent update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Warzone is now available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The patch unveils a series of changes, new maps, and other features. For Xbox One, players should expect the update to be up to 30.86GB and is almost the same for PC and PS4 players (the update could be smaller if you only have Warzone).
The most significant addition includes a new Gunfight map for Modern Warfare dubbed Aisle 9, and a new Modern Warfare multiplayer map, titled Hardhat. Coinciding with the launch of the new maps, Modern Warfare is also receiving a special 24/7 playlist for Hardhat, while Aisle 9, a Face-Off Moshpit playlist. Here are the details you should know about the latest update.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone’s May 18 Update Details
The Warzone battle royale mode welcomes a lot of new features, including an Armor Box that players can get as loot or purchase via Buy Stations. The box can resupply a whole team’s armor, becoming very useful on the battlefield. Additionally, players will see the Most Wanted contracts again, while there are now extra Gulag loadouts, such as four SMGs and six various assault rifles.
The update also solves many bugs, such as exploits that could let players get points outside of a map. The annoying bug in Warzone that catches players in the Gulag for the whole match has also been solved with this update.
As for the weapon balance changes, the SCAR and FAL weapons have now lower aim-down-sight times. The penalty for holding your breath too long while using a sniper rifle has also been decreased. The Holger 26’s recoil has been lowered, while the VLK Rogue’s rate of fire increased. Infinity Ward has published the full patch notes, and you can discover other features as well.
