There’s no doubt that Infinity Ward has a battle royale under development for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Recently, a lot of leaks have taken Call of Duty fans by storm. Currently, the upcoming battle royale mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare dubbed Warzone surfaced. It was leaked directly as the gameplay of its opening tutorial.
Players experienced hard times lately with an unexplained bug. They had been reportedly launched into Warzone from the primary menu unexpectedly. Someone, however, uploaded the footage of their first moments with the latest upgrade to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Warzone Battle Royale Mode
More proof for Warzone has unveiled recently as one screenshot, one audio file, and one gameplay, and it appears everything will happen in the firing range that a lot of Modern Warfare players are so familiar.
In the audio, for example, posted by @TheGamingRevolutionYT on Twitter, we can hear Captain Price talking about Warzone’s exclusive mechanics and some Supply Stations. The screenshot displays some details about that Supply Station, and it appears that Warzone users could stroll for Plunder and resupply themselves at these markets.
The gas mask is highlighted, which is defined as allowing “circle defense,” so players would obtain total or partial immunity to the acid gas outside the safe area. Different killstreaks and tools can be observed, as well, such as a UAV, a Shield Turret, a Drop Kit Marker, a Cluster Strike, Precision Airstrike, and a “Squad Buyback.”
As for the gameplay, it surely confirms a lot of details that were previously leaked so far. The Modern Warfare Season 2 upgrade displayed a new “Classified” page to the game’s name screen. Such a thing is thought to be the place where the Warzone battle royale mode will be placed.
Unfortunately, none of those are officially confirmed, and we should expect more changes.
