The 1.08 patch for Call of Duty is out now, according to Community manager Ashton Williams. The patch is a successor to the 1.07 update that was launched last week. Here is what the new patch changed, according to the official patch notes:
General fixes
Many stability issues were addressed across all platforms and game modes. This will prevent crashes and other problems.
Riot shield
The bug that prevented players who used the Riot shield to take explosive damage was fixed. Also, the glitch that made the Riot Shield stow on the players’ back when using Stim was fixed too.
Footsteps
Footsteps will be audible regardless of speed. The speed in which players can remain while keeping the walking footstep sounds was increased.
Challenges
The Mission Challenge description “Get Kills with a Burst Weapons” was changed because it was too vague.
Misc:
Spawn settings were modified for TDM and Domination. The B Flag from domination was relocated near the busses instead of the center fountain.
Weapons:
Some notable changes were made to popular weapons: The ARs’ hip spread was altered, the range of the 725 was reduced, the hip spread of the M4 was increased and its head damage was decreased. The FAL’s recoil was decreased while also increasing ADS speed. The ADS speed of the EB-14 was increased too.
Special operations:
The bug that caused players who used the Overkill perk with an SMG as a secondary weapon spawn in without a primary weapon when they joined an ongoing match was fixed.
