Call of Duty Warzone, The Battle Royale Mode Of Modern Warfare, Might Launch Soon As Free-to-Play

Call of Duty Warzone battle royale mode is rumored to come out of the closet on March 10. The new battle royale mode part of the Modern Warfare is right after the corner if the rumors turn out to be true.

The new information comes from Okami, a leaker that has shared with the world other leaks that turned out to be true. The leaker has previously shared info concerning the Gunfight 2v2 mode before its release, for example. Therefore this new info about the Warzone mode could actually be real, and we couldn’t be more excited! This also means that we should see a trailer of the upcoming battle royale mode by the end of the day today or on Monday.

This rumor was supported by VGC as well. It was more like a hidden hint, but it was there, which makes the news even more reliable. However, there is no official confirmation yet, so take the story with a pinch of salt until further information.

More About Call of Duty Warzone Battle Royale Mode

Here’s Okami’s message that was posted on his Twitter account:

  • “Warzone is launching March 10
  • The trailer is ready. It’s coming either on Thursday or Monday.
  • Free to play
  • Squads only
  • Will be in its own separate client
  • When all of this comes true, you will know I’m right about MW2R coming this year.”

As you may already know, Call of Duty Warzone mode is free-to-play for players, which means you don’t need to own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to be able to enjoy this battle royale game mode. However, having the Modern Warfare means that you will be able to enjoy other features of the game, such as playing it through a voice in the main menu, for example. In the past, Activision has taken action against the Warzone promotional leaks concerning the upcoming game.
