Dota Underlords So Far
Dota Underlords was launched in 2020 for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux as an auto-battler game developed by Valve. The game is based on the well-known Dota 2 community produced game mode dubbed Dota Auto Chess.
Dota Underlords is a chess-inspired competitive strategy game, in which you have to place heroes on an 8×8 grid-patterned battlefield. After that stage, a squad’s heroes will fight the opposing squad automatically without any further direct involvement from the player.
A match includes up to 8 players online that have to wait for their turn to play against each other in a one-on-one style. The winner is the final player standing. The single-player matches against bots are also possible, as well as a “freestyle” training mode with no limits on hero combinations.
The game allows you to earn experience points and gold, which are utilized to upgrade other playable units and heroes to make them stronger. You can also use the collected items, which offer stat bonuses to units. Dota Underlords features a “duos” mode, allowing two players on separate boards. Still, they have to share levels and health and work as a team, with the winning duo having the greatest combined damage totals.
