The JAK-12 shotgun, a much-awaited weapon, was finally added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. If you want to know how to unlock it, the following tips and tricks might help you.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare welcomed the sixth season and introduced a ton of new content. The game is updated now frequently, so we can have the best experience so far.
One of the newly added stuff in the game is a weapon, the JAK-12 shotgun, which initially leaked as the AA-12 shotgun from Modern Warfare 2.
Some sources say that unlocking the JAK-12 in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer mode won’t be that hard. But there’s always a catch. Here is what you need to know.
Get the JAK-12
The JAK-12 shotgun unlock is not that complicated. You need to get three hipfire kills with a shotgun in seven different multiplayer rounds.
The 1.28 patch changed a bit the Modern Warfare’s playlists for the multiplayer mode, so you should be able to get the JAK-12 in standard playlists such as the Team Deathmatch or the Free-for-All.
Also, the modes where you tend to group in various areas, such as Hardpoint or Domination, are actually the best to unlock the JAK-12 shotgun.
Furthermore, you can complete the task in any multiplayer mode, with any desired shotgun.
More About the JAK-12 Shotgun
If you didn’t use the AA-12 shotgun before, you should know that this is an extraordinary shotgun. Modern Warfare’s JAK-12 is actually a fully-automatic shotgun.
The JAK-12 has a rapid-fire rate for a shotgun, and you can rely on it for quick kills in close-quarter combat. As for downsides, the weapon has high recoil and lower damage output. Such a thing could end up affecting its rank on some Season 6 guns tier lists.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC users.
