We can now notice that the first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 is approaching its end. Epic, on the other hand, chose to increase the period of Season 1 until February. We found out when te upcoming season will begin, as developers have officially announced the launch date for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 is arriving on February 20.
The release date is probably going to modify, as Epic explains this is when season 2 is assumed to start. We also don’t know what to await in talks of a season-finale event like the rockets or the comets in the past.
Developers published the news on Fortnite’s website, providing a slightly hazy, redacted teaser. It sais: “Season 2 will feature [redacted] with multiple [redacted]. We can’t brief you on all of next Season’s secrets just yet…”
Epic Games delayed the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2
The developers also confirmed the arrival of some new Overtime quests in the meanwhile, and a two-week event, as well, to maintain players busy in the waning time of Season 1. No information was published yet about that, but we should expect it soon.
Beyond when to anticipate Season 2 and the upcoming Season 1 stuff, developers also explained that the Fortnite 11.50 update is getting ready for an early February launch. A significant element of that patch will include progress to the Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics engine, but this will be tested in a limited amount firstly. Epic wants the most to ensure players the experience is still the best, and the upcoming feature will boost up, even more, the game.
“Along the way, there will be some bumps, so we’re starting tests with a small group of players. We’ll also closely monitor feedback and make improvements over time.” We should wait for more details to be released soon.
