This Season 3 Week 3 task requires us to deal 100 damage within 10 seconds of bouncing off an umbrella in the land of Sweaty Sands. Here is what you need to know.
How to Complete the Challenge
The trick to finishing this challenge is to use some bots. Similar to most Fortnite challenges, the first step is to find the location.
Sweaty Sands is not hard to find at all. It’s actually labeled on the map, and you can spot it easily. If you need a little extra help, you should look at sector B3 and go to the beach. There is an excellent place to land at the start of a match as the storm will likely close it out if you wait too long to finish the challenge.
Arriving at Sweaty Sands
After landing in Sweaty Sands, there are a few things you’ll need to do.
First, you need to be sure to acquire a ranged gun, as this will make dealing damage very easy. Then, attract one of the many bots discovered on the beach and lead it over to any umbrella you see.
Jumping on those umbrellas will cause you to bounce into the air, and you’ll get 10 seconds to deal 100 damage to the bots.
This Fortnite challenge shouldn’t be too difficult. The 10 second grace period is pretty generous, allowing you even to land and walk right up to a bot to get your damage. You should stay wary, as there is no doubt that other players are trying to finish the same thing. However, if one does run into you, it could be worth trying to take a shot at them after bouncing off the umbrella.
