One of the best things about using an Android-powered smartphone is the fact that you will always be first in line to access all of Google’s latest software updates. As many of you probably know by now, the Android parent is rolling out major updates to its most important apps on a daily basis and the latest app to be updated is Google Camera. The new update for Google Camera brings a handful of important improvements and today we are going to present everything there is to know about them.
Google Camera 7.1.015.272913722 Update
Android fans should be pleased to know that a brand-new update for Google Camera which sports the 7.1.015.272913722 version number has been made available for download. The update can be downloaded in two ways with the first one being rather simple. The only thing that Android fans need to do is to keep their smartphones connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and to wait for the update to arrive via OTA (over the air) channels.
The alternative method of accessing the new update is to manually download and install it in the form of APK. This is a special update format and the APK acronym stands for “Android Package Kit”. The trick to installing this type of updates is to enable the “Unknown Sources” option.
As previously mentioned, the latest update for Google camera introduces a bunch of improvements. The first one is swapping the places of Night Sight and Panorama in order to give users faster access to their favorite modes.
Furthermore, the Smart Burst mode has been disabled for Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL due to some issues which caused the mode to lag. Last but not least, the update also introduces a handful of bug fixes and “under the hood” improvements.
