The updated PS Store listing confirmed recently that the much-awaited Gran Turismo 7 would arrive with some of the greatest features.
Gran Turismo 7 is one of the PS5’s most anticipated games, and fans have been eagerly awaiting more details about it since it was announced with a teaser during the next-gen console’s unveil. And now, Sony has updated the game’s PS Store listing and website, offering all the details we needed so much. Here is what you need to know.
Killer Features are Expected
Fans of Polyphony Digital’s praised series have likely been waiting for 60 frames per second target from Gran Turismo 7 for what it seems now an eternity.
However, the confirmation that the game will arrive with support for 4K, ray tracing, and HDR is the best news ever. Thanks to Sony, we know what to expect regarding the targeted performance and technical features. The last three games in the franchise have all aimed for 60 fps, even if Gran Turismo 5’s frame rate issue happened.
The news also unveils that using a solid-state storage drive will enhance the experience we have online and in the game’s menus, enabling a quicker transition to races and instant selection of cars. The updated listing describes, too, how the DualSense controller will help immerse gamers in Gran Turismo 7’s racing, with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers offering variation in brake weights and throttle. We will also get more detailed feedback from the tire and bumps surface contact.
While no launch date has been confirmed for Gran Turismo 7, speculations have indicated a release within the “launch window” of the PS5. Such a thing means that the game could be available before the end of the year.
Furthermore, the 8th title in the competing Forza Motorsport franchise is also expected in early 2021 on Xbox Series X. So, fans of both games still have a lot of time to examine all the technical details of every game to determine which performs better.
