Here Are Four Methods of Solving the Xender Connection Problems on Android 6.0

Xender is, without a doubt, the most convenient file sharing platform used on Android tablets and phones. It allows its users to share huge video and audio files across different devices in just seconds. The app also has the option to share files at the same time across multiple devices. But keep in mind that this app uses the Wi-Fi and hotspot connectivity, which can cause some problems at some point when it comes to connection.

In order to solve these problems, you need to try these fixes.

So how can I fix these problems?

Android 6.0 is also known as being Android Marshmallow and is a modern Android OS. Together with its brothers, Android 7.0 – Nougat, and Android 8.0 – Oreo, they form a fantastic trio. While the upgrades come with better user experience, they also come together with some issues. One of the most common issues is the connection problem, which is often associated with the use of Xender, especially when it comes to Android 6.0 smartphones and tablets.

The first method: check the Hotspot or the Wi-Fi connection

As said before, Xender connects devices through a hotspot or through Wi-Fi. So if you encounter this problem while trying to send files, you first need to check that hotspot or the Wi-Fi connection. If the icon is nowhere to be found, you need to try to turn it on manually.

Also, don’t forget to disable the mobile data connection of your device and the Bluetooth. In order to have a better performance, this should also be done on the other device, the one that sends or receives files.

The second method: restart your device

You know the general fix: try to restart your device. It will fix the temporary problems that may be behind the problems. Xender should find no problems now.

The third method: update the app

If these fixes did not work, you might need to update the app. In order to do this, you need to go to Google Play Store, look for the Xender app, and update it. Switch the location to on, and launch the updated Xender app. Don’t forget to switch on the location on the other device, too  – the receiver or the sender.

The fourth method: enable the app in “Network Management”

Some Android devices come with a well-known feature that is called “Phone Master.” This feature allows you to make changes to your device.

For this, you need to close Xender and launch a Phone Master. Then go to Network Management. Find the app and check the marked box that’s placed beside it. Then apply changes and exit. Now you only need to launch the app to see if the problem is fixed.

If the issue is still not solved, you need to clear the cache of the app or remove and reinstall it from Google Play Store.
