Fortnite is one of the most popular games among users nowadays, featuring a battle royale experience. In addition to this, the game is available for download in Google Play for Android users. However, many fans have reported the occurrence of the error “Failed to create party,” which mainly occurs when an interruption during the connection process between your device and the server of the game occurs.
In addition to this, issues regarding the user’s account or even the game’s server may be possible. Therefore, here is a list of possible solutions to apply if this error occurs. The first method is only for PS4 and Xbox users and it shows you how to log out from your account, since the error may be caused by a series of account-related features.
How to Fix the Fortnite “Failed to create party” Error
For Xbox players
Click on the return feature and go to the home menu. Then, click on the Xbox button on the console and select your profile from the left-hand side menu, from where you can sign out.
For PlayStation 4 players
Press the PS4 button and click on the Settings menu, then select the Account Management feature and sign out. Wait for about 5 minutes before logging in again into your account.
However, in some cases, the solution is even more straightforward than that. You simply need to restart your gaming console, especially when you have not done so in a very long time. A correct restarting process starts with you shutting down the console and unplugging it from its power source. Wait for a couple of seconds and plug it in again. To turn on the console, press the power button and wait until the connection to the Internet is re-established.
If the Fortnite “Failed to create party” error is still displayed, then the problem is caused by the Epic Games’ servers, which might be busy at that particular moment.
