It was totally worth the long wait for the Final Fantasy 7 fans to see their favorite game running as an improved version for PS4. The game was originally released way back a quarter of a century ago for the first PlayStation console. But now, you can admire the legendary title with tremendously improved graphics in order to be more suitable for the advanced hardware of PlayStation 4.
If you like role-playing games where superpowers and fantastic creatures represent usual sights, than you should definitely give Final Fantasy 7 Remake a try. And what better argument could you possibly want, other than the fact that you can play the game at no cost at all?
Final Fantasy 7 Remake DLC is FREE in the PlayStation Store
Five pieces of DLC armor available for Final Fantasy 7 Remake are free to download right now from the PlayStation Store. The renowned gaming service is describing the game very accurately:
“The world is under the control of Shinra, a corporation controlling the planet’s life force as mako energy. In the city of Midgar, Cloud Strife, former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary lends his aid to the Avalanche resistance group, unaware of the epic consequences that await him.”
The official Final Fantasy 7 Remake Twitter account was the one announcing the free DLC, and it also provided links to each item’s download page. The DLC includes the Corneo Armlet, Superstar Belt, Midgar Bangle, Shinra Bangle, Mako Crystal, as well as five accessories for various stat boosts and damage resistances.

Although Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available only for PS4, there’s plenty of hope that we’ll see the game running on the next-generation console PlayStation 5 as well. Sony said that PS5 would run most of the PS4 titles.
