Huawei released the flagship P40 lineup earlier in March in China. The new series includes the Huawei P40 5G, P40 Pro 5G, and the Huawei P40 Pro Plus 5G.
The P40 Pro Plus variant has been available for sale on the Chinese markets since last week. Now, Huawei is ready to release the smartphone in Europe on June 25. Here is what you should know.
Huawei P40 Pro Plus Features and Specs
The Huawei P40 Plus flaunts a 6.58-inch display with a 2640×1,200 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 19.9:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone houses a HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset and is powered by a 4,200mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging. The device also comes with reverse wireless charging and 40W wireless charging support. For connectivity, the device comes with support for Wi-Fi 6 Plus with transfer speeds of 2600Mbps.
Huawei P40 Plus runs on the newest EMUI 10.1 user interface out-of-the-box and is based on Android 10. The smartphone comes with the company’s Huawei Mobile Services and its AppGallery App Store.
For the photography skills, the Huawei P40 Plus packs a lot of sleek features. It sports a Penta-camera module, which includes a 40MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an improved 50MP RYYB f/1.9 camera with an 8MP telephoto camera, OIS, 8MP f/2.4 Optical Periscope camera with another ToF depth sensor and OIS.
The camera can capture 10X optical zoom, up to 100x digital zoom, and 20x Hybrid zoom. On the front panel, Huawei P40 Plus comes with a dual-camera module that includes a 32MP selfie shooter and an IR depth sensor.
Huawei P40 Plus Price and Availability
Huawei announced the Huawei P40 Plus will be released in Europe and UK on June 25. The smartphone will arrive with a price tag of £1,299 in the UK, and €1,399 on the European market.
