Possible Home screen widgets are also rumored to make an appearance. iOS 14 might bring some of the most significant changes so far. We could witness a total makeover for iOS devices. Such a move is much anticipated as Apple usually chooses to enhance only the performance of its devices.
DongleBookPro shared recently on Twitter, a bunch of screenshots hinting at possible iOS 14 features. The images showcase the new wallpaper settings panel. The default wallpapers appear to be divided by collections such as “Flowers,” “Classic Stripes,” and “Earth & Moon.” With such collections, iOS users could search for more wallpapers easily. Other updates include the new Home Screen Appearance. The feature will allow users to choose a dynamic wallpaper that will be available only on the home screen.
iOS 14 Leaked Features and Other Details
Some reports from 9to5Mac suggest that Apple has under development more updates. iPhone and iPad users might enjoy a bunch of real widgets. Unlike the iPadOS 13’s pinned widgets, the new widgets can be moved wherever you want, like other app icons.
However, until Apple decides to release an official statement, we can only hope for the best. Maybe this time, the company will stick to the plan and release new appearance updates.
Looking back at iOS 13, we surely got the most unexpected, yet innovative features so far. The update introduced the sleekest Dark Mode, setting the trend amongst other devices. It also revamped the Photos app, brought a new Siri voice, and updated privacy features. We also got a useful new street-level view for Maps, a Find My App, and many other updates. Accordingly, we expect more new features from iOS 14, the next OS from Apple, which would launch along with iPhone 12.
