The competition between Apple and Samsung is well known in the universe of mobile phones. And now, with the launch of iPhone 11 models, the battle between the two giants reached a new level. iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S10e are the latest budget flagships released by the two companies. In this article, we’ll compare iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S10e to see which is a better budget flagship.
iPhone 11 Vs. Samsung Galaxy S10e – Which Is A Better Budget Flagship?
iPhone 11 – Specs
iPhone 11 is the successor of last year’s iPhone XR. Accordingly, iPhone 11 is the budget flagship of this year’s iPhone 11 series.
While the design doesn’t change much in comparison with its predecessor, and the notch is still there, iPhone 11 comes with a few novelties under the hood. The device will have a 6.1-inch LCD screen, and, according to rumors, it will sport an A13 processor with three cores. Only 4 Gb of RAM will sustain the CPU, and the device will boast 64 Gb of internal storage.
As for the camera, iPhone 11 will come with two primary sensors, boasting 12 megapixels, and one selfie camera of 12 mp, too. The model will not have a MicroSD slot, and we don’t know how powerful its battery would be.
iPhone 11 will run iOS 13, and that’s excellent since the new iOS version will bring lots of improvements over the previous one, including a system-wide Dark Mode that the fans are eager to try for themselves.
Samsung Galaxy S10e – Specs
Samsung Galaxy S10e launched in early-2019 as Samsung’s budget flagship. The device performs excellently and comes with an impressive design.
Samsung Galaxy S10e sports a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen, slightly smaller than the one on iPhone 11 but more performant. Under the hood, Galaxy S10e boasts an octa-core CPU (Samsung Exynos 9820 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 855), either 6 or 8 Gb RAM, and either 128 or 256 Gb of internal storage. The device has two main cameras with a total power of 16 megapixels and one selfie camera of 10 megapixels.
As expected, Samsung Galaxy S10e runs Android 9 Pie, but when Android 10 rolls out, most likely, the smartphone will receive an upgrade to the new OS. And that’s great because, like iOS 13, Android 10 will also bring lots of improvements and new features over its predecessor.
iPhone 11 Vs. Samsung Galaxy S10e – Conclusions
Judging on the technical specs of the two devices, Samsung Galaxy S10e outperforms iPhone 11 by far. But we all know that iOS devices work different than Android ones, so iPhone 11’s lower specs might not make a significant difference when using the smartphone, thanks to the iOS 13 operating system.
