The news comes from the Digital Chat Station, which states, the company is expected to release the IQOO 5 lineup this summer. According to a Weibo post, IQOO will introduce more than one smartphone under this series. The IQOO 3 5G was released back in February 2020. Here is what you need to know.
IQOO 5 Expected Specs and Features
The IQOO 5 series is likely to arrive with the new 120W fast charging tech, which was introduced last month. This tech claims to charge a 4000mAh battery full in only 15 minutes. No information was released about the features of the upcoming handset. Also, there are no details about how many smartphones will comes under this series. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 865 or the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset.
However, the company released the IQOO Z1 Nautical King Limited Edition in China last month, and it is now available for purchase. To recall, this handset offers a Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Coming to the software, the IQOO Z1 Nautical King Limited Edition runs on Android 10 OS out-of-the-box topped with IQOO UI. The smartphone is fueled from a 4,000mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging tech.
