As 2020 is approaching, we should expect a whole new bunch of new games. Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers is one of the titles ready to be released next year. But before finding out what the game will bring or when we should expect it, we should know that Marvel’s Avengers will hold a lot of competition for player recognition in 2020.
What is Marvel’s Avengers?
Marvel’s Avengers has the main aim to follow on the steps of a revamped variation of the Inhumanity plot. Such a scenario involves many humans worldwide, suddenly finding out that they are inhuman. They also understand how special they are and what superpowers they developed.
Kamala, for example, is one of the Inhumans, getting the power of shapeshifting abilities. She can also increase in strength and size. Kamala finds herself involved in a daring mission of reuniting the disbanded Avengers.
What Characters We Should Expect to Meet
A full list resurfaced, and some characters have been confirmed. Square Enix has hinted Hawkeye as a playable character, and alongside him, we should see Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ms.Marvel, and Ant-Man. Note that the mentioned characters have been confirmed for Marvel’s Avengers, but we don’t have an official announcement if they will be playable or not.
Marvel’s Avengers is being published and developed as a games-as-a-service title, with extra characters, events, missions, and customization launching after the game was released. The upcoming game will support both single and multiplayer. Players will enjoy both an offline and online experience.
Marvel’s Avengers Release Date
Marvel’s Avengers is planned to launch for PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC on May 15, 2020. We should find out more soon from the developers. Moreover, a special event could be as well expected.
