The upcoming Oppo smartphone appears as a mystery phone, arriving at the Geekbench database. The device suggests an affordable variant under development. The Oppo smartphone is listed with a similar processor as Oppo A31. Besides that information, we got some hints about its hardware thanks to the benchmark website’s listing. Oppo A31 was released recently.
The Upcoming Oppo Device Will be Launched Soon
The next Oppo device has been seen with the CPH2083 serial number. It is also listed with a 2.3GHz base frequency, and an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The processor is said to embody a standard 3 GB RAM setup. As for the smartphone’s storage, we still don’t know yet any details.
Oppo’s software will be managed by a dated Android Pie OS, which will probably introduce the Color OS user interface. Such a thing, however, is a little bit disappointing. The company could use the recent Android 10 OS.
Regarding the benchmark ratings, the next-gen of Oppo devices has reached 900 points in the single-core test. As for the multi-core evaluations, the handset has got 3,754 points. The results, however, suggest an entry-level smartphone, like the Oppo A31.
Oppo A31 So Far
The actual installment from the Oppo series, the A31 variant, has been released with the same processor, Mediatek Helio P35, as the one indicated by the Geekbench database for the CPH2083 model. The smartphone is bringing 4GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It also has extensive memory support, too.
It is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a smooth 20:9 aspect ratio highlighting a waterdrop notch that embodies an 8MP selfie camera. The back camera module has a 12MP main wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. It would be nice to see similar features at the upcoming Oppo variant!
