Animals Crossing was announced in 2018. However, the final name of the game (Animals Crossing: New Horizon) was officially confirmed in 2019. Unfortunately, the game was delayed to 2020, as it was revealed at E3 2019.
The delay provoked a significant drop in the stock price of the Japanese gaming company.
We’ve never seen New Horizons look so amazing before! People all around the world are excited and can’t wait to play the game.
Animal Crossing is finally releasing for the Nintendo Switch on March 20.
On Thursday, Nintendo announced that a special edition of Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch would be available starting from March 13, precisely one week before the release of the game. The bundle will cost $299, and it looks unbelievably zen.
The special edition Nintendo Switch will also be available in Australia for AU$470.
Gamers from the United Kingdom will be able to purchase the special edition Nintendo Switch for £330. Also, this version will be bundled with a download code for the game. The UK branch of the company released a charming and relaxing trailer for the console.
The console features pastel mint and blue controllers. An Animal Crossing Pattern is present on the back of the Switch, and a Switch dock with Tom, Tomy, and Timmy Nook on the front side, furthermore amplifying the overall chill vibe of the console.
An individual carrying case will be available for purchase separately.
