Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Will Be Available on Every PC via GeForce Now

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 could make GeForce Now streaming much better. There are already many signs pointing towards Nvidia bringing the GeForce RTX 3080 soon. But there will be another way to get the performance that Nvidia’s upcoming Ampere GPU brings to the graphics table.

Nvidia confirmed the plans to bring Ampere graphics to its GeForce Now game streaming service. Ampere is known as the core architecture that will underpin the next-gen of GeForce graphics cards. Such a thing could mean that GeForce Now will get access to the power of Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. Here is everything you need to know.

Nvidia’s Plans of Bringing GeForce RTX 3080 to Every PC: What We Should Expect

Nvidia explained that it wants GeForce Now to be an opportunity for all gamers to experience Nvidia’s most recent gaming tech. Andrew Fear, the senior product manager for GeForce now, stated: “You can expect to see Ampere on GeForce Now in time.”

GeForce Now is fueled by some GPUs using the Turing architecture, which has dedicated ray-tracing hardware for games that support the realistic rendering method. According to some speculations, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 is believed to offer a 20 % performance boost over the powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. We can surely expect some high performance to come over to GeForce Now.

These things mean better graphics, visual features, and frame rates ready for Nvidia’s game streaming service. Moreover, with the PS5 and Xbox Series X on the horizon, we should expect some games to push the gaming hardware better than before.

But there’s a catch, too. Currently, GeForce Now is brought as a free-to-use and paid service. For $5/month, the paid version gives you all the graphical features the Turing GPUs offer and priority access to the service. The free plan is more basic. So, we’d expect Nvidia to make GeForce Now users to pay for access to the increased performance and features that Ampere will bring.
