Samsung’s One UI has been quite popular among fans since it was introduced for the first time, and it seems that the company has been hard at work on ports of the update.
One UI 2.5 arrived for the first time on Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Tab S7 series. An update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 range was also released on them when the devices mentioned previously were launched at seems that it will also come to the Samsung Galaxy S10 range.
Recent reports note that the update is being rolled out in Germany under the firmware version name of G973FXXU8DTH7. It is also available on the Galaxy S10E and Galaxy S10+ under the name of G970FXXU8DTH7 and G975FXXU8DTH7. While some fans feared that the update wouldn’t be available for the S10E, it seems that this is not the case.
The update includes the September security patch as well as support for Wireless DeX, allowing users to mirror the DeX UI on any wireless devices which are compatible with the Miracast standard. A new quick setting toggle will allow users to activate or deactivate the mode.
Some massive improvements are also present, including new options for users who enjoy the Pro Video Mode. Users who wish to connect to password-protected WiFi networks will also have the option to request the paper from another Galaxy device, which is already connected to the networks.
There is also the option to search for YouTube videos within the Samsung keyboard app, which is a great boon for those who like to spice conversations with fun or interesting videos without the need to open YouTube or a browser to search for them.
