OnePlus is getting ready to bring a new smartphone series in the coming months. And now, the company should launch the OnePlus 8T series for the masses.
A recent leak shows us an insight into the design, specs, and features of the OnePlus 8T standard variant, and they seem great. Other rumors and speculations suggested some sleek features will be available this time on the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. Here is what you need to know.
OnePlus 8T Expected Specs and Features
The OnePlus 8T was previously leaked wearing a punch-hole display with some narrow bezels design, and a 6.55-inch panel rumored to be an AMOLED display. Unlike its predecessor, however, the OnePlus 8, which has a 90Hz panel, the upcoming handset is said to have a 120Hz one.
But a report via Android Central claims that OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 8T with a similar display as the OnePlus 8 Pro variant. If it turns out to be accurate, the smartphone will feature an FHD+ resolution instead of a QHD+ seen on the Pro version.
OnePlus 8T is also expected to arrive with four rear cameras. The arrangement will include a 48MP main camera sensor with a new Sony IMX689 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5M macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor.
The smartphone will also pack an improved processor. It is expected to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset. There will be a 5G connectivity support, as well. The RAM and storage configuration is still unknown. One of the key highlights OnePlus 8T is expected to have is the latest Android 11 OS.
Most significantly, OnePlus 8T is most likely to be the company’s first handset to pack the new Android version topped with an Oxygen 11 OS UI. The remaining features and specs of the smartphone will soon be announced, most likely in the coming days.
