OnePlus hit the wireless earbuds market in July with the release of OnePlus Buds. The pair of wireless earbuds came with a price tag of Rs. 4,999 on the Indian market.
Now, it seems that the company is going to launch a budget-friendly variant of the OnePlus Buds, allegedly called OnePlus Buds Z. The earbuds are going to be launched alongside the OnePlus 8T. Here is what you need to know.
OnePlus Buds Z Launch Details
Max J, the well-known tipster, has shared on Twitter the alleged upcoming OnePlus Buds Z along with a waveform and a cryptic text confirming its name.
Even if the tipster doesn’t say a thing about a possible launch date, the pair of earbuds might be revealed with the upcoming OnePlus Buds 8T. The smartphone has already been confirmed to arrive on October 14.
The alleged OnePlus Buds Z could arrive as the most affordable version of the OnePlus Buds recently brought on the market. In addition to this, a recent report found the OnePlus Buds Z branding on the OxygenOS 11 beta build. But, there’s no word regarding the next pair of OnePlus TWS earbuds, though a launch event in October seems possible.
What We Should Expect From OnePlus Buds Z: Specs and Features
The OnePlus Buds Z is said to come with a 13.4mm dynamic driver, a clear bass, and ENC (Environment Noise Cancellation). The device might feature a stem-design and is likely to last 7 hours on a single charge.
Also, the OnePlus Buds Z will come with an extra 30 hours of usage with a sleek charging case, support fast-charging, and IPX4 water-resistant.
Given that the OnePlus Buds Z will be released as a budget-friendly, we should expect it to come with relatively toned-down specs and features. Further details, however, should be revealed by the company sometime soon.
