Oppo has been hard at work in recent months, releasing several devices which proudly sport the Reno sub-brand. The latest entry in the series in the Oppo Reno Ace, which comes with flagships specs, among which we can count the bleeding-edge Snapdragon 855+ SoC, a quad-camera array and a fast-charging battery which uses the SuperVOOC Flash Charge protocol.
A new Reno model has been spotted on the website of one of the most popular benchmark software tools. The model is named Oppo PCCT30, and it features 5G. It is rumored that Oppo plans to receive the variant of the Oppo Reno in China, and they are known as the PCCT30 and PCCM40. The data from the website appears to confirm the rumors related to the first device.
Specs of Oppo Reno 5G
The specs of the device were mentioned on the website, and they are quite interesting. The device will come with Android 9 Pie and ColorOS 6 will be added by Oppo, which likes to customize the UI for the users. Some argue that Oppo will release a version of ColorOS based on Android 10 in the following months, but there are no hints at this point.
It will be powered by an unnamed SoC manufactured by Qualcomm, but many argue Oppo will use the might Snapdragon 855. The processor will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256 of built-in storage space. Users who need more space will have the option to use a microSD card.
According to some rumors, those who opt to buy the device will enjoy 6.55-inch FHD+AMOLED panel with a generous 387 PPI resolution. A triple-camera setup should make an appearance with the primary sensor having 48MP, while the secondary sensors will reach 13 and 8MP. It will offer 10x hybrid zoom.
Possible release date
At this point, the release date remains a mystery, but the device should be announced in the following months.
