Override: Mech City Brawler is receiving quite the sequel in the form of Override 2: Super Mech League.
Massive mechs have been a staple of games for many years. The giant mech was developed for video games as a medium, and it is perfect even if there is a little sci-fi or fantasy. Players pay their respect for mechs in many ways, including fantastic fan art of Mudkip driving a Mudkip mech.
Override: Mech City Brawl was a sleek game that tried to reach one of the best things of giant mechs in games – seeing them fight each other. Also, the party mech brawler had players control every limb of their mech independently, and it comes with super moves, weapon pickups, and many different mechs to pick.
But, as ambitious as it seemed, it went unnoticed by many. Now, the game is welcoming a sequel in Override 2: Super Mech League, and it’ll sure expand on everything we’ve seen so far. Here is what you need to know.
Override 2: Super Mech League Features, Release Date, and More
Override 2: Super Mech League is the upcoming sequel of Override: Mech City Brawl. The sequel promises to expand on the original, featuring new stuff, too. We’re going to see new arenas, new faces, and much more yet to be announced. We will no longer be limited to cityscapes, and we will experience fighting on floating platform laden battlegrounds, and some new locales.
The new mechs will be a bit different, adding verticality to Override 2. Aura, for instance, is a mech that has a sleek and consistent jet pack. Sprinkles can also prove well, trapping her enemies in a floating bubble. As for weapons, these appear to be returning, too, if Aura’s gun and the reactor thrown by Pescado is any indication.
You can watch the first trailer of Override 2: Super Mech League below.
Override 2: Super Mech League will be released on Holiday 2020 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC.
