Pokemon Go is one of the most popular games out there right now. It brought people together outside of their houses. This is because the game has given every user a chance to live their childhood dream: running and catching Pokemon. We know that during the lockdown, we are not able to do that anymore, but bear with us.
It’s been some years since Pokemon Go was released, and it is still going strong. And we can all thank Niantic for that, for releasing software updates that come with new content. Now we’re going to talk about the latest update rolling out.
The 0.171.4 Update
The new update for Pokemon Go has the the 0.171.4 version number, and it is rolling out through Niantic Labs’ official OTA (over the air) channels. Users are asked to keep their phones connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Even if most of the Pokemon Go updates come with bug fixes and software tweaks, this release will come with something new. We get new content for the game.
So what is new with the update?
As we previously said, the update won’t only come with bug fixes. There are more goodies introduced here.

You might want to play GO Battle League until you actually win. But if you don’t win any of the battles from five, well, you might want to keep trying.
Team GO Rocket has managed to invade the world of Pokemons. Make sure you battle with Team GO Rocket Grunts, and you restore PokéStops and rescue Pokémon. All of this, while still managing to have fun with your friends.
