Players could have seen an image with a statue, with the ‘Coming Soon’ announcement. The only things that are still not available are the patch notes. The possibility of an Erangel 2.0 arrival could happen soon.
The fans are even speculating that behind the statue could be many hints about the Erangel 2.0 map. The upcoming event would be a revival of the well-known Erangel map, released to PUBG later this year. Developers didn’t release any official information about such an update. It is also well-optimized for low-end devices which don’t require too much of a RAM. Devices that have lower storage are as well, compatible with the game’s 400MB. PUBG Lite Mobile practically runs on smartphones with less than 2GB of RAM. The game’s map, for example, is a little bit smaller, allowing up to 60 players against the 100 players in the full version.
