Redmi 9A Might Feature the MediaTek Helio G80 Processor

Xiaomi’s well-known sub-brand Redmi is getting ready for a couple of launches, such as the Redmi 9A smartphone. 

While the device has been doing rounds of the rumor mill for quite a while, Digital Chat Station, the Chinese tipster, has unveiled some details. As one of the budget handsets, it would feature the MediaTek MT6969T processor. Here are the latest details.

Redmi 9A Processor Details Unveiled

Redmi is one of the most praised brands in India, especially for its budget-friendly smartphones. The next Redmi 9A will be added to the list of budget devices. 

Many reports had indicated that the Chinese company would likely equip the device with the MediaTek Helio G8X series processors, which is known to deliver fast and smooth performance. Digital Chat Station is one of the sources that unveiled a couple of details about Redmi 9A.

The tipster said that the device could arrive with the MediaTek MT6969T processor. It should be noted that the precise marketing titles of these processors are still unknown. Another rumor unveils that this processor houses interior specs similar to the Redmi 10X 4G smartphone. 

Redmi 9A Rumored Features

Currently, the information about the Redmi 9A is still scarce. But, a recent FCC listing has unveiled some useful details. The smartphone is said to run on MIUI 12 out-of-the-box and be a dual-SIM device with a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network support. A few other reports had indicated a 5,000mAh battery capacity with a sleek 18W fast charging support and a 10W charger. 

The other details of the Redmi 9A collected from the speculations and leaks include support for 4G LTE networks. The schematic sketch of the device’s rear as indicated by the FCC certification listing unveils that the Redmi 9A could sport a dual-camera module at its rear panel.

Redmi should release the first statements about the upcoming smartphone in the coming weeks.
