After many rumors and leaks, the Redmi K30 Ultra is now official. The handset has been revealed for both global and Chinese markets.
The Redmi K30 Ultra is the latest device from the Redmi K30 lineup and comes equipped with a bunch of notable specs and features. The smartphone is said to flaunt a 120Hz display, a flagship Dimensity 1000+ SoC, a quad-camera module, and more. Here is what you need to know.
Redmi K30 Ultra Specs and Features
The Redmi K30 Ultra sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2400×1800 pixel resolution, a fast refresh rate of 120Hz, and HDR10+. The display doesn’t have notches or punch-hole cutouts as the handset is equipped with a sleek pop-up selfie camera setup.
Under its hood, the smartphone houses a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G SoC with various RAM and storage variants. For imaging, the Redmi K30 Ultra flaunts a quad-camera module with a 64MP main Sony sensor, a 13MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP tertiary macro lens, and a fourth depth sensor. The selfie camera makes use of a 20MP camera.
Other features include a 4,500mAh battery with a 33W fast charging support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual VoLTE, and more.
Redmi K30 Ultra Price Tag and Availability
The Redmi K30 Ultra has been confirmed to arrive in three storage configurations such as 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB + 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM + 512GB ROM. The versions are priced at approximately $288 (Rs. 21,500), $317 (Rs. 23,500), and $360 (Rs. 27.000).
The Redmi handset will hit the markets in China from August 13 and is already available for pre-orders. The smartphone is also expected to be launched in India, a country where all the Redmi devices are very popular. We should expect a rebranding, too.
