Rocket League Season 4 is making its way with many interesting new changes and features.
The Rocket Pass comes with over 70 tiers of new items along with the all-new Outlaw car for Premium players. Deadeye Canyon will be the season’s new wild west themed Arena entering all standard playlists.
Tournaments are also getting major changes next season. First, there will be more tournaments added to the schedule every day for players in all regions to enjoy. Extra Mode and 2v2 tournaments will also be added to the mix. In addition, Tournament Rewards have also been updated to feature new and exciting items.
More limited-time modes are on the way with 2v2 Heatseeker arriving on August 12. The super-fast Speed Demon mode and Spring Loaded rumble variant will also be coming to Rocket League later this month.
New changes are also being implemented to improve the experience of those solo queuing in competitive 3v3 standard and tournaments. Players in parties of two must now be within three ranks of each other in order to queue. This will help the third player to find a team with similar rank when teamed up with undersized parties.
Furthermore, the ability to forfeit Casual Matches is being added along with matchmaking bans for players who continually leave casual matches. This is aimed to improve the casual matchmaking experience and discourage players from leaving mid-game regularly.
Streamers and content creators will also benefit from a new feature that allows them to play “Streamer Safe Music”. This will replace licensed songs with those that are free to use in order to avoid potential bans and copyright strikes.
The Season 4 update will be available to download starting August 10 at 4 p.m. PDT (7 p.m. EST) in preparation for the next season. Season 4 will officially kick off the next day on August 11 for all players to enjoy.
