Samsung’s newest plans include a new smartphone dubbed the Galaxy A02. Recently, a device with the model number SM-A025F was spotted on Geekbench.
The model number of the alleged Galaxy smartphone is similar to the Samsung A01, which was launched in December last year. The global version of the Galaxy 01 has a model number A015F. So, the new handset could make its debut as the Galaxy A02. Some specs of the phone have also been unveiled. Here is what you need to know.
Samsung A02 Specs and Features Unveiled: What to Expect
The Geekbench listing has been found via Android-based blog Nashville Chatter, unveiling the smartphone has got 746 points in a single-core test and 3,810 points in a multi-core score test.
According to the listing, Samsung A02 might be powered by a mighty Qualcomm octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. The chipset’s name is rumored to be the Snapdragon 450. As for software details, the handset will ship with Android 10 OS out-of-the-box topped with One UI.
Furthermore, we can expect the Samsung A02 to arrive with similar features as its predecessor, the Samsung A01. To recall, the handset was launched with a 5.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V panel. It also came in a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. That storage is also supporting up to 512GB via a microSD card.
Samsung A01 was also released with a 3,000mAh battery. The photography specs included a dual-rear camera module with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. It features a 5MP camera at the front for video calls and selfies.
So far, Samsung has not released any statements or details about the upcoming Galaxy A02. It’s better if we take everything with a pinch of salt.
However, as the smartphone is listed on the Geekbench, we should expect it to be launched soon.
