Huawei Mate 30 Pro vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus challenge at their best features. Huawei Mate 30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro came straight competitors to Samsung’s latest devices, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. The devices offer an excellent feature for their front camera, Mate 30 Pro has a 32MP f/2.0 with a depth sensor. Meanwhile, Note 10 Plus has a 10MP f/2.2 option.

Specifications and Other Options

Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a Kirin 990 chipset, 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, while Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, a Snapdragon 855 chipset, with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The cons, however, go to Mate 30 Pro because of its Android 10 and no access to Google Play Store. Note 10 Plus runs on Android 9, and benefits from full access to Google Play Store. Both devices have an in-screen fingerprint scanner.


Huawei developers packed the device with a 40W wired charging and 27W wireless one, powered by a 4,500mAh battery. Samsung comes with a 4,300mAh with wireless charging, too, but slower, at 15W.

Prices and availability

For a Huawei Mate 30 Pro, you can spend €1099, also for a 30 Pro 5G, €1199. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 models, however, comes for $1,099 for a 256GB version, and $1,199 for the 512GB one. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus starts at $1,099.
