The new Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup will have an expensive price tag, especially in the 5G version. Max Weinbach provided the first detail regarding the price, and he is one of the most reliable sources when it comes to S20 leaks. The good news is that the 4G models will cost less than their high-speed 5G counterparts.
How much cheaper?
It’s pretty much clear that the 4G models will cost about €100 less than 5G ones. However, it is unclear whether buyers will have a choice or not. Users from countries that have access to reliable 5G networks might only be able to purchase 5G models.
Pricing
Here is how much the base models of the S20 lineup will cost, according to most sources:
- Samsung Galaxy S20 5G – about €1000
- Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G – €1,050-€1100
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G – €1300
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip – €1,400
The pricing of the following generation is noticeably more expensive than the Galaxy S10 lineup, which was about €250 cheaper per model.
However, American users will have to pay less for Galaxy S20 devices: Weinbach says that the Galaxy S20 will cost $950, the S20+ will cost $950, and the S20 Ultra will cost about $1200 – all for 5G enabled base models.
