Samsung Galaxy S20: How To Fix Camera Error

Being only about two and a half months old, the Galaxy S20 smartphone model by Samsung has some mind-blowing camera setups. There’s a 64 MP snapper on the rear and 8K video recording capability, just to say the least. The phone is a true beast, and it’s totally worth its demanded price of $749.

But what can you do when that powerful camera of the Samsung Galaxy S20 is malfunctioning or not working at all? We’re here to answer that question. And of course, changing your phone is not an option.

  1. Restart the phone

As simple as it sounds, this method has the potential of getting you rid of a lot of trouble, including making the camera working again. By restarting the phone, you’re refreshing its memory and reloading all services and apps. The way to restart your Samsung phone is like a walk in the park:

  1. Press and hold both the power key and the volume down button for 10 seconds.
  2. When the phone turns back on and the S20 logo shows on the screen, you must release both of the keys and wait for the reboot to be finished.

If your problem still hasn’t gone away, it’s time to move on to the next step.

  1. Clear the cache and data

This is another age-old method that works for a lot of issues. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the screen to find the Camera icon.
  2. Tap and hold the Instagram icon for the options to show.
  3. Tap the App info.
  4. Select Storage.
  5. Select Clear cache.
  6. Select Clear data and choose OK for confirmation.

  1. Reset to factory settings

Before you reset your phone, you must create a copy for all of your files and data as they will be deleted after the reset. Here’s how to further reset to factory settings:

  1. Select the Settings menu.
  2. Select General management.
  3. Select Reset.
  4. Select Factory data reset.
  5. Scroll down and select the Reset button.
  6. Select the Delete all button to proceed with the reset.
