Spider-Man: Miles Morales won’t come with an intriguing feature.
The news that the upcoming Spidey game won’t feature any other playable characters was released recently.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales and PS5 are only weeks away, and the game’s developers seem to love dropping surprise announcements.
The first Spider-Man entry was released back in 2018 on PS4 and was highly praised. The game brought us closer to more dynamic combat, fun, streamlined web-slinging mechanics, an expansive open world, and much more. But there was this thing that bogged the quality of the game.
The issue? Multiple playable characters, such as Mary Jane Watson and Miles Morales. How different will be the next Spider-Man game?
Here is what you need to know.
Miles: the Only Playable Character
As we have seen in the first Spidey game, more playable characters were no fun. For some of us, those extra characters seem like they mostly took away a bit from the experience of playing as Spider-Man.
Luckily, the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales won’t come with that feature. And it is probably the best news so far!
The announcement was made by Brian Horton, the creative director of the game. He explained how players would be able to play as Miles all the time.
However, Horton didn’t say a thing about the part of the game where Miles would step away from his superhero duties and interact with others like an absolute typical teenager.
But, the piece of information really offers us an idea of what kind of game to expect. It will also be nice to see what else the developers have in store for Spider-Man: Miles Morales. One thing is for sure.
Peter Parker won’t play an important role in the game at all. Another character’s fate, Ganke Lee, is expected to be unveiled.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales will debut soon, on November 12, for PS5 and PS4 users.
