Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the most anticipated titles of the year, and many gamers are looking forward to the release date.
The game is developed by Respawn Entertainment, the studio behind popular titles like Titanfall and Apex Legends. Respawn Entertainment was founded by same duo who founded Infinity Ward, the studio which created the popular Call of Duty Franchise.
During the reveal EA and Respawn stated that the title would be a single-player action-adventure game developed for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PS4. An interesting plot and several trailers have attracted the interest of a large number of people. It will tell the story of Cal Kestis, a Padawan who escaped the consequences of Order 66 and tries to run away from the Galactic Empire. During an event which takes place above a Sarlacc Pit Cal is forced to use his Jedi powers to prevent the deaths of his friends. The act is spotted by an Imperial Probe Droid who sends who records and send images to the Empire. An assassin is dispatched to track down and kill the Padawan and any living Jedi Knights.
In the latest trailer, we can see a few glimpses of the story. The Sith Inquisitor who is looking after Cal is close to catching him, but Cal is saved at the last moment by a spaceship. They convince call to help them in the Battle against the Empire. At one point the voice of the Inquisitor is heard, noting that Cal and his friends are looking for something very important for the Empire.
Gameplay-wise the experience appears to be quite fascinating. Cal has access to an assortment of Jedi powers and which can make a difference in combat. Some boss battles seemed to be inspired by the Dark Souls series, but that may not be the case in the final version of the game.
It will be available for all the previously-mentioned platforms on November 15.
