The Stardew Valley game comes with a new update – Stardew Valley 1.4. It just went live on Steam and GOG for PC, and it comes with a list of brand new content and amazing features.
The update is out for PC, Linux, and Mac. Its developer, ConcernedApe, stated in a blog post that versions for mobile and console would be here soon.
The Xbox One version got the Stardew Valley 1.3 update earlier this month, bringing this update for all the platforms, except PlayStation Vita.
What’s New in Stardew Valley 1.4?
The new features from the 1.4 update suggest a new end-game mystery and an abandoned house. There will be more characters events, a Four Corners farm map, fish ponds, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
There’s a huge changelog that comes with small changes. They added a movie theater, which comes with related features and content. They also added a Trash Bear to clean up the trash around the town. There’s also a hidden subplot, which you’ll get to play, in case you have turned children into doves.
Remember, Junimo Kart? Yeah. He’s actually fun now after they have redone it. You can also put hats on your children, but remember that they have to walk first. Remember Festivals? It won’t be the same for divorced people, as they will not treat their exes usually.
Now it’s easier to collect milk and wool from farm animals. The animals also have a larger hitbox. Also, if you’re using pail or shears when you’re facing more than two animals, the game will choose the best match, and not the first one.
