The Korean Manhwa has succeeded recently to blown up among otakus. And while there are many fantastic manhwas, only three of them stand at the very top.
Written and illustrated by much praised Son Jeho and Lee Kwangsu, Noblesse is one of the most beloved manhwas. The series is very popular in the fan community and sometimes is believed to be the greatest.
Two OVAs based on Noblesse have already been released. The first one created quite a buzz in 2015, while the other premiered in 2016. Noblesse: Awakening is the 2016’s short production made by Production I.G that quickly became a hit. Now, the news about a full movie emerged, and fans couldn’t be happier. Here are the latest details.
Noblesse The Movie: Rumored Launch Date
As fans weren’t that happy with only a 31-minute Noblesse movie, they demanded a more extended version of Noblesse to be released as soon as possible.
Luckily, at the Seoul Comic-con in August 2019, a new anime was confirmed. It was also announced that Production I.G. would make the series, and the Crunchyroll will co-produce it and broadcast the anime worldwide.
No launch date was announced, but we can expect the new extended Noblesse movie to arrive next year or in 2022.
Noblesse Cast: What We Should Expect
Besides the confirmation, we don’t have other useful information about the upcoming anime. But, we do have some details about the possible cast.
Of course, Cadis Etrama Di Raizel will be introduced as the protagonist. We should also expect to see Han Shinwoo, Woo Ik-Han, and Frankenstein. Some voice-cast from the 2016′ OVA could return and reprise their roles in the extended Noblesse movie.
Noblesse Plot Details
Information about the upcoming Noblesse movie is scarce. We don’t know whether the anime would pick up after the events of the OVA. We should expect, however, the series to be a complete retelling of the story.
So, the story could follow Rai, an ancient and powerful “Noble,” who awakes after many centuries and finds himself in modern-day Korea. More details and a trailer should be released in the coming months or next year. Stay tuned to find out more!
