The Cheapest ISP’s in 2020: See Our Top Picks

The truth is that everybody can afford an internet subscription nowadays, and not to mention that the Wi-Fi option is always there waiting for you. In pretty much any bar or restaurant, there’s free Internet for the clients to grab, as soon as they give you the password. But even so, being connected to the Internet from the comfort of your home is always a plus.

Just in case you’re thinking about changing your ISP (Internet Service Provider), we’re proud to present to you our top proposals for the cheapest ones. Because let’s face it: saving some money is always a good idea.

Cox Internet

With a fiber or cable connection type, and a download speed of 10 to 1,000 Mbps, a subscription for Cox Internet starts at just $29.99 per month. With 20,000 employees in 2020, this company seems highly reliable.

Suddenly Internet

This offer demands a little higher amount of monthly fee: $34.99. However, it provides faster speeds: 100 Mbps to 940 Mbps. The connection type is the same as in the case of Cox Internet: fiber and cable. It looks like the name Suddenly Internet was not given for nothing: the service is fast due to the internet speeds, although it could be considered a bit too expensive by some customers.

RCN Internet

This is perhaps the cheapest deal available. For only $19.99 per month, you’ll get a trust-worthy internet connection. The download speeds are not impressive, though: only 10 Mbps to 940 Mbps.

Xfinity Internet

This is also a pretty cheap service, as a monthly subscription costs $29.99. That provides you access to pretty much any type of online content you need, and the download speeds are also relatively generous: 15 Mbps to 2000 Mbps.

Frontier Internet

This service also doesn’t deserve to be overlooked, especially for the fact that it offers a different type of connection than all the other options from the list: DSL. It’s available on fiber, too. Also, the download speeds aren’t too high: only 6 Mpps to 940 Mbps. But it’s still a reasonable offer for the demanded $20 monthly price. Frontier Internet says the following about its services:

“Stay Safe. Stay Connected. | Now with Contact-free Installations.

For your safety and that of our technicians, we have implemented a new contact-free, guided install process for our 100% fiber-optic network.”

Frontier Internet also offers the possibility through its website to enter your address and instantly view the plans of the company for your area.

These are our top picks, and surely you’ll find a suitable option for you. Looking for the cheapest solution is not something shameful at all. And surely the world has no meaning nowadays without Internet, as pretty much everything is being run by it.
