With fall 2020 quickly approaching and next-gen consoles so close, there are a few game titles you should be eager about.
Some of the early months might be on the lighter side, but when November approaches, it’s full steam ahead. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2020 is a bit different than most. Here are the best upcoming game titles.
When Marvel and Square Enix first announced the new partnership, many were excited to find out what would come. The MCU has developed Marvel more praised than ever, with several titles seeing high-profile releases now, too.
Marvel’s Avengers is more like a live service game with comparisons to Destiny. Builds and loot will matter so that two player’s Hulk might not be the same. There are raid-like and co-op mechanics, and a lot of content coming post-launching, such as new heroes like Ant-Man and Hawkeye.
Marvel’s Avengers will arrive on September 4 on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Stadia with PS5 and Xbox Series X to follow.
Mafia: Definitive Edition
Mafia: Definitive Edition is going to be released like a remake. Players will find themselves again in the shows of Saliere crime family mobster Tommy Angelo in the 1930s. The city of Lost Heaven, however, has been completely rebuilt. The remake will also introduce one new element, motorcycles.
Mafia: Definitive Edition will be launched on September 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Watch Dogs Legion
Many Ubisoft games have been postponed to this fall and early 2021, with Watch Dogs Legion finally arriving in only a couple of months. Developed with a “play as anyone” mindset, players will be conducting the Resistance against its would-be oppressors of all types, from those who have military power over London to those who run the street.
Watch Dogs Legion will arrive on October 29 for PS4, Stadia, Xbox One, and PC. PS5 and Xbox Series X variants will launch alongside the consoles.
Assasin’s Creed Valhalla
Assasin’s Creed Valhalla is the upcoming entry in the long-running series, and the first to leap to next-gen consoles. Players will have to play as Eivor, a clan leader of the Viking Era. Unlike Kassandra or Alexios, Eivor uses a hidden blade and will have some relationships with the Hidden Ones, but how that manifests remains to be seen.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is one of the highest shocks of the PS5 game showcase was the unveil of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, mainly that it was a launch game for Sony’s next-gen console. There are some speculations it will ship alongside a remastered variant of Spider-Man.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is now under development for PS5.
