Xiaomi’s Poco sub-brand of affordable smartphones has been so popular among users that the company decided to convert it into a standalone company at the start of 2020, and a new Poco smartphone will be released soon.
Called Poco X3 NFC, the device is the first smartphone which features the Qualcomm 732G SoC, and it packs a series of great mid-range features at a very affordable price tag, a trait which has the potential to make it a hit on certain smartphone markets.
The device comes with a generous 6.67-inch panel with a competitive 120Hz refresh rate, an impressive 240Hz sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 for improved endurance. At the heart of the device is the Snapdragon 732G chipset, which offers a superior AI performance as well as improved CPU and GPU speeds in comparison to the 730G which was released in 2019.
Among the changes we ca count a 2.3 GHz Kryo 470 CPU and an Adreno 618 GPU with enhanced graphic rendering. Both the newer and older chipset relies on the X15 LTE modem, which can provide an impressive speed of up to 800 MB per second.
Designed for gaming
Poco wants to provide an enhanced experience for gamers as the Adreno 618 present on the X3 comes with liquid cooling and unique vibration patterns, which should make several actions distinctive from one another while enjoying a mobile game.
Other specs include 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of built-in storage space, as well as support for MicroSD cards with a maximum capacity of 256GB. A 33W fast charge feature will ensure that your device will be fully charged in less than an hour. The classic headphone jack is also present alongside a pair of speakers and a USB-C port, with a fingerprint sensor being present on the side.
The 64GB version is available for $238.00.
