Xiaomi confirmed on May 4 the release of the next Mi 10 smartphone on May 8 for the Indian market. Recently, the company has also announced that it will introduce the next-gen True Wireless Earphones, dubbed Mi AirDots Pro 2, on the same launch event.
The wireless earbuds have been teased by Xiaomi to arrive with a sleek charging case. Back in 2019, the accessory was released in China and Europe this year, as Mi True Wireless Earphone 2.

According to Xiaomi, the Mi AirDots 2 sports a similar concept with its predecessor, but provides a dual Bluetooth processor for the best stabilization, wireless charging support, and low latency. Both the earbuds have Bluetooth 5.0 (LDHC/SBC/AAC) feature connectivity. It can connect with Android and iOS devices, too.
Besides, it will arrive with 14.2mm drivers, change track, touch control, which lets you control volume, and receive and hang-up calls. The earbuds will also feature dual-microphones for noise cancellation, an infrared sensor for intelligent wear track, and voice control. The music will automatically turn off when you remove the earbuds and resumes when you put them back in.

Moreover, as per the details shared by the reports, the Mi AirDots Pro 2 can deliver up to 24 hours of battery life. Whereas the Mi AirDots Pro 2 variant only brings 14 hours of battery life. It also offers almost up to 5 hours of standalone battery life.
Xiaomi, however, is yet to confirm the price tag of the next true wireless earbuds, Mi AirDots Pro 2. It might fall under a similar cost point such as the Realme Buds Air, according to some rumors. This month will be for sure the most intriguing one for the Xiaomi fans, as the company prepared the launch of an event for two of its devices.
