Apple’s iPhone 12 is one of the hottest subjects of the moment. There is something about the company’s devices that keeps millions of people focused on the latest news and leaks!
Though some leaks suggested some underwhelming specifications, we put our trust in the Cupertino-based company, which rarely disappointed us!
The first iPhone 12 Pro Max case was picked up by the popular site AppleTrack, and that officially leaked the flagship smartphone’s camera layout.
The case showed both the enlarged rear cameras and also hinted at the integration of the new LiDAR sensor to the phone’s triple camera array.
Apple tipster Jon Prosser encouraged Apple fans not to give up on 120hz on 12 Pro yet, saying:
“I know they’ve got iPad Pro-like’ Promotion’ running on 12 Pro Max. Just not sure if it’ll make launch. But there’s enough evidence from my sources not to give up on it quite yet.”
However, he added that the new iPhones wouldn’t use Samsung’s LPTO displays, which are optimized for high refresh rate panels, but that was expectable.
The concern is less about whether the company would implement 120Hz screens, but whether it will avoid them due to battery drain concerns.
The feature of a 120hz display would be impressive, and missing it would undoubtedly be a deal-breaker for many Apple fans.
However, good news might be on the way, as Jon Prosser claims that iOS 14 features settings for both LiDAR and a supposed 120Hz display.
However, there is a slight possibility that, though the device’s display might be capable of 120Hz usage, it can get limited by software for various reasons.
